There will now. For donkey's years I swore there would be no sequel to ARIEL, since the first novel decisively concludes and resolves. But in the last few years an idea occurred to me that fit perfectly into the ARIEL universe, though it isn't apparently a sequel at first. It's called ELOI. It's about 90% finished; I hope to have a draft done late August 2007 and a rewrite done late November 2007.
It'll be finished in abut two weeks, then published pseudo- nymously in Myanmar under a different title.
I write all the time. I don't publish all the time. When I do, it isn't always in the same medium or section of the bookstore. Plus, publication isn't up to me, it's up to publishers. If I knew why they didnt' publish me all the time, I'd be a happier fellow.
I used to. Now I rarely do. It's better for everyone that way.
